I have downloaded the source in eclipse and when I import the pom from the root folder as a maven project I get the following problem 

Could not get configured mojo for org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-checkstyle-plugin:2.12.1:checkstyle {execution: check-style} 
Plugin org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-checkstyle-plugin:2.12.1 or one of its dependencies could not be resolved: Failed to collect dependencies for org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-checkstyle-plugin:jar:2.12.1 () 

Any ideas?+
