Currently blocking the 2.0.0-alpha-1 release.

gen/pom.xml cannot be transformed by the Maven Release Plugin because the parser fails on the configuration "namespace" element: 

{code}Element "xmlns:xsi" cannot have "xmlns" as its prefix{code}
