So, all tests are now passing. DependencyConvergence was fixed as well. Now I'm trying to fix the plugin, which is the last missing thing before we can move to Eclipse Aether.

SWR behaves the same with 3.1.1 and 3.0.5, so we need to figure out versioning. Since we haven't changed any API, we could release a micro. OTOH, Maven 3.1.x support was long awaited so maybe it deservers update. Any thoughs on that, [~alrubinger] ?

[~mmatloka] you should be able to rebase your Gradle builder on top of this branch, I intent to merge it to master once the plugin is fixed.
