Very exciting news: 

Teiid 7.0 Final is now available, securing Teiid as the premiere open source data virtualization project.  We've not only made custom development simpler, but have added many new important features including a JBoss AS runtime environment, seemless JCA integration, JOPR web-based administrative & monitoring, a Groovy based scripting environment for administrative tasks, redesigned text and web service integration, SQL/XML support, and much more.
