Yes, we need to get better at this.  IMHO, one reason we arent better is 
the mindset that teiid-dev doesn't yet have a community.  But it does.  
Even among us MetaMatrix folks, Doyle is remote, and most others are 
working from home 20% or more.  Cubicle discussions can and should 
continue, but they need to be reflected in public discussions before 
they are decisions, and comments solicited.  Otherwise those not 
involved in the decision will - and should - complain.
