The log invocation was occurring on the wrong overloaded method, it is corrected to avoid the ambiguity. The Buffer Managers stats set to spit out every one minute interval. If any debugging reason if you would like to increase the frequency then supply the below property in the "deploy.properties" to increase it

metamatrix.buffer.logStatsInterval=500 ( in milli)

This is internal property.
