The "path" attribute must be specified on the "model" xml element in the "vdb.xml" file for FUNCTION models to make this work. Otherwise deployment of the VDB is denied. Now the Teiid runtime vdb deployment allows multiple UDF models inside a single VDB.

Please note tooling may still be including single FUNCTION model, but they may be changing in coming release.
