Defining the metadata on the properties list is the Teiid issue, whether it used to drive the UI is tooling issue.

Also, the reason I choose "expert" in this scenario is to distinguish Teiid properties from the container  properties.  In tooling we can choose to sub-divide into multiple sections like JOPR does if they need be to be clear.
