I have pulled together sever related JIRAs under the linked TEIIDDES-175.

Do you think it is possible to get Interfaces around the SQL validation dependency as well (even it it's not a publicized as an API?  Were we to have the Admin API Interfaces and interfaces for the validation deliver in a jar, Designer could cut this cord.

Max is looking for a time frame around removing these dependencies across all of the tooling.
