Steven Hawkins resolved TEIID-554.
----------------------------------

    Fix Version/s: (was: 9.x)
       Resolution: Deferred

I'm going to shelve this for now. Users may be using searchability metadata, even for complex expressions, to inhibit pushdown. If there is a support/community need for alternative behavior we can reopen this issue whenever a compatibility breaking change is appropriate.

> Key: TEIID-554

> Project: Teiid
> Issue Type: Quality Risk
> Components: Query Engine
> Affects Versions: 6.0.0

> Since searchability metadata is element based our check for (CapabilitiesUtil) gathers all elements in the expression - regardless of the type of the whole expression. This may be quite difficult to make this change in the existing metadata framework.
