Committed the initial tests under the test-integration perf module, which can be run under the perf maven profile.  Will add more coverage for stream sorting (although I'll probably just rewrite the current algorithm so that it is not dependent on the notion of source blocking), socket/serialization, xml processing, and a couple of common predicates.
