Per project:

The numeric issue is dependent upon the table data and is not a general issue with the SQL generated. The other issues have to do with the implicit string conversion form of numeric values. We already KI that the string format of implicit/explicitly converted numeric values is db dependent, so this is not completely unexpected. Moving into the open to community bucket if an ingres user wishes to address. Note that all of the failing BQT queries shown in the attachment are rather contrived and unlikely to be issued directly by a user.

This issue is going to be flagged as WONT FIX since Teiid is not considering fixing this issue unless someone in the community decides they need it.   If someone in Red Hat decides they really need the fix, please reopen this.
