by object I mean object type - TABLE,VIEW,etc.

So a full example could look like:

ALTER FOREIGN TABLE foo ADD cardinality 100, ALTER COLUMN bar ADD updatable true, DROP something

Since the COLUMN keyword is optional, we could just leave that out initially and also not expect a keyword for parameter.
