Ah.  I hadn't anticipated that since you were looking to eliminate directories (assembly) before.  Until we have another kit type wouldn't you just leave it as module, instead of kits/module or kits/jboss-as7?  Or are you simply suggesting renaming the existing module directory to jboss-as7?

I'm not sure what you mean here.  Are you talking about the parameterized version numbers from the parent pom?  I'd say no in that case as we have higher level dependency management concerns that are best handled at the highest levels possible.
