Collect suggestions about upgrading file translator, we now need retrieve files from FTP server, HDFS, etc, may be we need something parallel to File translator. Ramesh has referred with JBoss VFS as his comments:

May be we should look at JBoss VFS system, I know we have similar need in supporting HDFS. That can be the abstraction layer?
