Just to get the metadata introspection working we need to support:

ARRAY[] syntax
regclass, obj_description, has_schema_privilege, has_table_privilege, pg_get_userbyid, postgis_version functions
Add the nspowner column to pg_namespace

We may also need to supported:
BEGIN READ ONLY
BINARY cursors
