Yeah, I found that line, but don't understand how it is used.

I think so. I fire up the Wildfly server with:
./standalone.sh -c standalone-teiid.xml -Dorg.teiid.widenComparisonToString=true -Dorg.teiid.pushdownDefaultNullOrder=true
