I'll look how this is done in JBossAS, and move the interceptor deployer accordingly.

Yes, any wb found in ear makes ear isolated - unless explicitly declared.

I just dl-ed JBoss5 from our site, ran build.xml from ri/jbossas, ran jbossas instance --> w/o any deployer problems.
Can you digg (debug) into that more - would be useful if it's really a bug.

The ejb module requires web-beans.xml as well in order to add interceptor.
But I can do it the same way as for listener - any wb found would do?
