We still do not have specific tests targeting this, but we do have EJB tests working for invocation of observer methods.  There is an issue with invoking methods via AnnotatedMethod when it is on an EJB proxy....the method being executed is on the original bean class, not the proxy.  However, this was fixed for observer methods by changing MethodInjectionPoint to remap the method when a proxy is being used.
