Ah, I see your problem, the ResourceLoader is not a META-INF/services style service, but instead registered programatically via the Weld bootstrap.

This is currently quite hard to do given the design of the Weld class, we need to make it possible to extend it more easily, and replace / add to the Deployment etc.

I will transform this bug report to be a feature request to do this. In the meantime Morten, you could try replacing the Weld class with your own for that does this as needed.
