Please note that the CreationalContext also needs to be Serializable!

Otherwise it cannot be stored on a medium which needs to be serialised (e.g. the JSF ViewMap)

Maybe we can simply say: if a bean is PassivationCapable, it also needs to be Serializable or Externalizable?
