[windup-dev] Educational video for creating windup rules

Hey Brad,

I was mainly thinking about covering it in such a detail, that almost nobody would have a need to contact us with some misunderstanding of how to write some specific rules.
Hopefully rules are stable enough and they are not going to change much in the future.

I don't know if you have enough time for all these things, but these are all the things I can think of that are needed to help you keep smiling face while writing the rules:

a) List of all the conditions (File, FileContent, XmlFile, JavaClass)
b) List of the main operations (Hint, Classification, XSLT). LineItem is not that much important
c) Rule phases (at least MigrationPhase + PostMigrationPhase), so they understand what are catch-all rules and why they need to be in a separate phase.
d) How to write a rule test
e) Maybe tell them about a potential of parameters {} and where they can put it

M.

I have a techtalk Friday I plan to cover the basics and also some Java rule concepts. The plan Is to record it. If you all contribute ideas for what'd you'd like to see covered, I'll try and make sure it makes it in.
