One way of solving this ...

                Type parameterType;
                if (parameterTypes.length == genericParameterTypes.length) {
                    parameterType = genericParameterTypes[i];
                } else {
                    if (gi >= 0)
                        parameterType = genericParameterTypes[gi];
                    else
                        parameterType = parameterTypes[i];
                }

... but I would still like to know where does the diff comes from.
