Ryan,

Can you comment on what functionality you expect in this area? In the webapp there is not a lot of functionality at the moment, so only duplicating that (without the visible display of the processdiagram) gives you little info.  IMO we should expose a JMX interface for some things, but the webapp itself should be the only display functionality we provide. 

OTOH, there is something like http://www.camunda.com/toolkit_for_jbpm/toolkit_for_jbpm.html which looks nice
