Actually the docs were wrong, I've fixed it now.  Wildcards can only be used at the start of the url-pattern, e.g:


  |   <url-pattern>*.seam</url-pattern>
  | 

or at the end:


  |   <url-pattern>/secure/*</url-pattern>
  |
