There was an issue with png/pdf creation with Designer 2.0 (search the forum thread as this has already been answered before). The solution is before an official 2.1 release to replace your war with one from people.redhat.com/tsurdilo/designer/master which includes the latest code with bug fixes/new features we are adding for the new release.
