The new Composite service wizard will not accept input for the WSDL URI field.  As soon as you change it, a warning pops up with:

"No socket specified"

and the Finish button is disabled.  This currently blocks all paths when trying to create an application with a promoted service:

- Right-click promote component service
- Drag composite service onto canvas
