Randall Hauch commented on DNA-67:
----------------------------------
The API will probably need to have two parts: one part for working with node fragments
(used by the connectors), and the other for working with nodes (on top of the cache).
Also, so that the different top-level API implementations (such as JCR 1.0, JCR 2.0, UDDI,
etc.) can use the instances, the graph API should probably make maximum use of interfaces
and factories.
Create graph API for federation engine
--------------------------------------
Key: DNA-67
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/DNA-67
Project: DNA
Issue Type: Task
Components: Federation
Reporter: Randall Hauch
Assigned To: Randall Hauch
Fix For: 0.2
The federation engine needs a graph API for working with content. The federation engine
will obtain content from connectors through this API, and the cache will manage the graph
instances. Other components like sequencers, analyses, etc. could also make use of this
API (on top of the cache, though).
