Tom Fennelly commented on JBESB-498:
------------------------------------
OK, what I was actually thinking about was a way to register (and subsequently query)
Gateway endpoint addresses. I was thinking of these as being bus endpoints and so should
be available (from the registry), allowing external clients (message unaware) lookup and
filter on the gateways.
I wasn't suggesting we allow registration of external endpoints that are not being
managed by the esb. Sorry for not being clearer on that one.
Allow Registry registrations to include a flag to indicate whether
the endpoint is message aware/unaware.

This will also mean adding query capability against this.
This requirement could be generalised to simply allow registrations to be decorated with
attributes, and have these same attributes returned in the lookups.
