Mark Little commented on JBESB-1648:
------------------------------------
The issue with transaction-to-connection management was addressed in the GA release: each
transaction should be getting its own connection, and the changes to the JDBC Connection
pooling classes that we added prior to GA made sure of that (something that was not
happening until then). I believe the recent changes to the transaction management in CP01
are due to EPR/JMS/JNDI changes that threw up some unaddressed error conditions. However,
this test did work in GA last time I tried it (prior to GA).
For a start can we make sure that the Affects fields are right? Is this against CP01 of
ESB (which is GA for SOA-P 4.2) or CP02 of ESB? The SOA-P cross reference suggests it is
CP01 of SOA-P 4.2, which would be CP02 of ESB, but the current Affects field for this
issue suggests otherwise. This confuses things.
Error running helloworld_tx_sql_action quickstart - does not work as
expected, doumentation is incorrect

Key: JBESB-1648
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBESB-1648
Project: JBoss ESB
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: Examples, Rosetta
Affects Versions: 4.2.1 CP1
Environment: JBoss SOA Platform? Standalone Server - Version 4.2.0.GA_CP01
Reporter: Jehudi Castro
Assigned To: Mark Little
Priority: Critical
Attachments: server.log.gz, server.log.zip
There are two issues with this quickstart
1) It does not describe what is expected to happen in it - transaction procession
2) The output of this test should be that rolled back record should be present twice in
processing, but it is processed only once
Maybe is not TX processing working?
