I asked about using Netty and that's not an option simply because it's not
supported yet.
As for a MinaGateway, I think I'd just go for creating a UDPGateway for now and get
that working well. If we create a MinaGateway then we have to create and maintain tests
etc for all the various options and features provided in MINA. We can't just assume
they'll work. We got burned by this on the JBR gateway.

Some work has already been done on this:
https://svn.jboss.org/repos/labs/labs/jbossesb/workspace/sandbox/iplistener. In this, the
listener is hooked in using a groovy scripted gateway (<groovy-listener>).
