I have not added my own driver as I do not believe it is applicable to our codebase, nor
would I wish to support it.
This is a general JDBC debugging problem.

Consider reworking JDBC transport code to use a PreparedStatement factory pattern that
can return a debug-enabled instance for improved traceability. I've got an
implementation from JBossTS and I think Kevin has one too.
