Confirmation of the solution I propose, as such, would be greatly appreciated. I still
don't understand the internal classloading mechanism, and the reason why this jBPM
configuration, which used to work just fine in jBPM alone stopped working when embedded as
an ESB.

The jBPM Designer is unable to test the connection to jBPM in order to deploy a process
definition. It is unable, as well, to perform the deployment.
The "Test Connection..." button delivers a very uninformative error, but the
JBoss AS console shows this line:

unavailable
