Kevin Conner commented on JBESB-572:
------------------------------------
Hiya Daniel.
No problem with that.
The unit tests weren't supposed to be using an FTP server, embedded or otherwise, at
this point. Any tests requiring FTP were supposed to be integration or qa. There is a
RemoteGatewayListenerIntegrationTest for that purpose.
The intention with this work will be to have an embedded ftp server used as a default
while retaining the ability to override the server (e.g. CI would use a normal FTP
server). This would allow us execute against the embedded server in an environment where
configuring an ftp server is not desirable while still allowing the tests to execute
against a (potential set of) ftp servers to test their responses.
Look at using the embedded ftp server for the QA tests

http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBESB-572
Project: JBoss ESB
Issue Type: Task
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Reporter: Kevin Conner
Assigned To: Kevin Conner
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 4.2
The QS tests currently require the configuration of an external ftp server to run.
If no ftp server has been configured then the QA tests should default to an embedded ftp
server.
