The notifier *is* an action but it does not (currently) work on the process method. The
notifier only works on notifyOK and notifyError invocations, i.e. after the pipeline
processing has finished.
This is what I am suggesting should change, extending the current code so that it can also
work from within the pipeline using process.
Create an Emailer action.
