As for a MinaGateway, I think I'd just go for creating a UDPGateway for now and get that working well. If we create a MinaGateway then we have to create and maintain tests etc for all the various options and features provided in MINA. We can't just assume they'll work. We got burned by this on the JBR gateway. Good point. I'll go with a UDPGateway and hopefully we can get some more general with a NettyGateway later if we decide to add one.
