Added explicit support for BINARY, VARBINARY, LONGVARBINARY, CHAR, VARCHAR and
LONGVARCHAR.
Fixed in trunk in revision 21043.

The BLOB support, added as part of JBESB-1690, is not sufficient for postgres.
The issue lies in the creation of the table entries as the code uses the
statement.setObject method to initialise the parameter. We need to change this to use the
setCharacterStream/setBinaryStream equivalents.
