Kevin Conner closed JBESB-837.
------------------------------
Resolution: Done
I have committed the changes to make the QSes part of the CI.
The test code has been moved over to the qa directory, away from the QSes, and runs
against the distribution created by the build process.
All the QSes supported by the original test code are included for compilation but only 10
of them have (so far) been fixed up to run in the new environment.
The ones which are tested are
HelloWorld, HelloWorldAction, TransformXML2Pojo, TransformDateManipulation,
TransformCSV2XML, TransformEDI2XMLGroovyXSLT, TransformXMLSimple,
Wiretap, HelloWorldFileAction, ScriptingGroovy
The current Wiretap code is insufficient, it does not test the content based aspect, and
needs to be updated at some point.
The tests are still using output files to coordinate with the junit tests (albeit through
a new action) and this also needs to change in the long term.
I'll create a new JIRA task to integrate the remaining QSes into the build.
The commit revision is 15726.
Add CI task for the QSs back in

Key: JBESB-837
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBESB-837
Project: JBoss ESB
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: Testing
Reporter: Kurt Stam
Assigned To: Kevin Conner
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 4.2.1 IR2
Hi Kev,
Just a reminder since I think this is of crucial importance to the QA effort.
The build machines seem to have a problem with running the ci target for the QSs. Someone
with access to the build machines (Kev?) need to take a look at that and put this back in
pace.
The lines:
<ant dir="product/samples/quickstarts/tests"
target="qs-test"/>
and
<ant dir="product/samples/quickstarts/tests"
target="qs-clean"/>
should be put back into action.
