Mark Little commented on JBESB-1181:
------------------------------------
If we remove
else if ((path.length > 2) && !"header".equals(path[0]))
{
throw new ObjectMappingException("Only 'header' can contain
hierarchical names: " + expression) ;
}
from setObjectOnMessage, then the quoting rule in getPathElement works for body, i.e.,
'body'.'foo.bar.x.y.z' results in a named value of foo.bar.x.y.z being
used. I can't see how the quoting rule could work for anything other than header given
the above if statement.
I have a minor doc update around this to commit after IR2 is out too.
Support setting hierarchical objects on the body, going from jBPM to
ESB
