This variable has been rename to org.jboss.esb.server.home. This can be set in the
quickstarts.properties, but if it is not, the value specified in
install/deployments.properties will be used. You also have to specify a value for
org.jboss.esb.server.config. The same goes for this variable that if it is specified in
quickstarts.properties that value will be used, otherwise the value from
deployment.properties is used.
Please let me know you would like it to be another way.

Got it. That's great. Maybe one small request? :)
In the product/install directory we have a deployment.properties-example, which we rename
to deployment.properties when running a distro. This way, in development you can have your
own deployment.properties file (NOT CHECKED IN). This prevents developers from
accendentially checking in their version of the properties. The -example version would
have the settings which work for a distribution. So if you use the download it all works.
I think it may make sense to do the same here?

Sounds like a great ide. I'll add a quickstarts.properties-example and remove the
quickstarts.properties from version control. Users that download a distribution will
propably run the 'ant install' and if they want to run the quickstarts against the
same server they don't have to do anything else.
