[JBoss JIRA] (FORGE-1030) Support multi-module Forge plugins

Yeah, I have to say that I think you will find Forge 2 much more palatable in this situation. You'll have to forgive us for a periodic api breakage until we release the final version in november. (API will lock-down and remain backwards compatible once Beta hits.)

Not exactly. Forge 2 has a whole new architecture much more modular. The API changed a lot and plugins written in Forge 1.x are not yet compatible with Forge 2 (Although we may support it in the future if it's worth).
Please have a look at the READMEs in https://github.com/forge/core/tree/2.0. You may also want to ping the forge-dev list for more info.

[JBoss JIRA] (FORGE-1030) Support multi-module Forge plugins

Hi Lennart,
I am sorry, but I haven't merged my branch yet given that it is still not fully working in this case. I am afraid that this is going to be harder to solve than I thought. It still needs more tests and I can't merge if it is not fully stable (or at least fully working for this scenario). I would love if you could merge it locally and confirm that it works for you.
Btw, Have you considered migrating your plugin to Forge 2? This is where we are really confident that should solve your issues.

> So ...
> # The repository.yaml includes a full Maven GAV to the project which holds Forge plugins.
> # Forge uses repository.yaml to download the source from GitHub and build it
> # Forge ignores the Maven GAV given in repository.yaml, and simply uses the root reactor project to inspect and attempt to install the plugins.
> To fix this bug, Forge needs to find the project given within the repository.yaml within the downloaded reactor and install the plugins from *that* project.
