[JBoss JIRA] Created: (GTNWSRP-143) Import do not completely replace old portlet
by Michal Vanco (JIRA)
Import do not completely replace old portlet
--------------------------------------------
Key: GTNWSRP-143
URL: https://jira.jboss.org/browse/GTNWSRP-143
Project: GateIn WSRP
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 2.0.0-Beta05
Reporter: Michal Vanco
Assignee: Chris Laprun
Fix For: 2.0.0-CR01
- add WSRP portlet on some page, refresh selfv2 consumer
- export some portlet
- Use for import -> select 1 portlet, select SiteMap page - Sitemap portlet will be replaced
- Import
- sitemap portlet is replaced
- but if you click Edit page -> you can see "SiteMap" portlet on page - it means that it only replaced content of portlet.
For example if portlet has Show info bar checked and you do import, portlet is replaced but title is still same.
I think it would be enough to replace title of old portlet as well.
(same for description)

> Session handling is under-tested, in particular with respect to border conditions. We need to test:
> * releaseSessions method is not currently tested
> * handling of session expiration in the producer
> * handling of a released session (i.e. what happens if the consumer sends a request with a released session id)
> * check that sessions are correctly handled by cookies, in particular by checking that the appropriate information is put in the session

> This request I already raised in the forums but no replies from any one.
> Kindly let me know is there is any way to decouple the WSRP renderer and markup from the current implementation.
> There is a requirement from our customer for this because the admin want to maintain the portlet location not the end user.
> WSRP positioning the problem.
> Please let me know if required any clarifications.
