I am not able to simulate it in "default" configuration in GateIn 3-CR01 with JBoss 5.1 but I am able to simulate it in "all" configuration in CR01. 1) Login as root 2) Go to http://localhost:8080/portal/private/classic/administration/registry 3) Click on "New Account" or any other application in Categories 4) Click on checkbox "Make it public". Now you can see exception in server log with long stack trace (attached exception-cluster-appRegistry.txt )
