Tom Baeyens commented on JBPM-2026:
-----------------------------------
first 3 models are bpmn compliant. 4th model is not.
we'll handle this as follows: the designer will not allow that you draw model4. so
users that only use the designer will not be able to author a process like in model4.
but the jpdl xml language does support it, so you could type that xml in directly in the
process file. if a user does that and opens such file in the designer, it will show as
model4.
that combines the guarantee that if you only use the designer that you stick within BPMN
compliant diagrams on the one hand with the original jPDL superstate flexibility (and
compact xml) on the other hand.
