[JBoss JIRA] (SRAMP-448) Consider TeiidModel changes
by Stefan Bunciak (JIRA)
Stefan Bunciak created SRAMP-448:
------------------------------------
Summary: Consider TeiidModel changes
Key: SRAMP-448
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/SRAMP-448
Project: S-RAMP
Issue Type: Feature Request
Security Level: Public (Everyone can see)
Affects Versions: 0.4.0 - Tomcat Support
Reporter: Stefan Bunciak
Assignee: Brett Meyer
Attachments: s_ramp_teiid.svg
According to the discussion I had with DV QE, the TeiidModel should also contain definitions of relational tables (and/or procedures, transformations... )
{code}
relational:BaseTable xmi:uuid="mmuuid:b52c0c79-ae20-4568-8843-5109ba6c01e6" name="DataTable" nameInSource=""
{code}
It seems like most of the derivation is done from TeiidVdbManifest, and very few from the TeiidModel(*.xmi) file. Attaching my own visualization I've done according to the documentation of the derived artifacts:

[JBoss JIRA] (RTGOV-393) DroolsEventProcessor. Support Drools STREAM and CLOUD event processing
by Jeff DeLong (JIRA)
Jeff DeLong commented on RTGOV-393:
-----------------------------------
It should be configurable, STREAM vs CLOUD. Stream has many advantages for CEP scenarios but has a cost. We could discuss which is the best default for rtgov. There are strategies from dealing with fault tolerance of CEP applications; rtgov is no different in this regard. In most scenarios I would recommend a single RTGov server with multiple SwitchYard servers with rtgov client (we plan to demonstrate this topology in our reference architecture as well). For most scenarios I think this is sufficient, that is failure of the rtgov service would be temporary and not core to the primary business process.

> When attempting to using sliding window rules, see[1]. Results in a runtime exception as the DroolsEventprocessor does not support a Stream of events.
> Recommend fix is making the DroolsEventprocessor configurable from the EPN to use either stream or cloud.

[JBoss JIRA] (SRAMP-447) Re-split the installer into EAP 6.1 and 6.3
by Brett Meyer (JIRA)
Brett Meyer created SRAMP-447:
---------------------------------
Summary: Re-split the installer into EAP 6.1 and 6.3
Key: SRAMP-447
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/SRAMP-447
Project: S-RAMP
Issue Type: Task
Security Level: Public (Everyone can see)
Reporter: Brett Meyer
Assignee: Brett Meyer
Fix For: 0.5.0.Final
SRAMP-382 combined EAP 6.1 and 6.3 support. For the most part, that's fine -- no compile issues, etc. However, the installer needs split back up in order to provide the correct ModeShape distro, etc.
