[JBoss JIRA] (RTGOV-577) Activity Collector integration for jBPM Business events
by Jorge Morales (JIRA)
Jorge Morales commented on RTGOV-577:
-------------------------------------
I can not elaborate that much into how, as I do not know that much jBPM, but as with SwitchYard we extract information from the payload, we should be able to extract information from the BPMN message flowing in the jBPM process.
Maybe another way to have TaskHandlers extracting the information and sending it to the Activity Server in an explicit way.

> Currently there is an activity collector integration with jBPM to report BPMN events (process started, process finished,...) It would be nice if also there would be integration to extract business information from the process and report it as Custom Activity Types, much like can be done with the Information Processor in SwitchYard, that extract business data from the payload.

[JBoss JIRA] (RTGOV-581) Support UDP as protocol for event submission
by Gary Brown (JIRA)

> Using an acknowleageable protocol as HTTP can make the business application/runtime server have some performance issues. Using UDP is both easy to configure, and more reliable in terms of the runtime server.
> Keep in mind that sometimes the event generation/submission should not compromise the execution of the core of the platforms.

[JBoss JIRA] (RTGOV-576) Activity collector integration with Camel
by Gary Brown (JIRA)
Gary Brown commented on RTGOV-576:
----------------------------------
I'd like to see whether the existing 'process started/stopped' events could be reused or made more generic to support the concept of a task starting/stopping. And then have the details of these events determine whether it is a process, task, route, etc.

> Activity Collector integration on Camel execution with following Activity Types:
> - Route started
> - Route finished
> This way we can gather also metrics on Route executions.
