[JBoss JIRA] (RTGOV-581) Support UDP as protocol for event submission
by Jorge Morales (JIRA)

Jorge Morales updated RTGOV-581:

Priority: Minor (was: Major)
> Support UDP as protocol for event submission
> --------------------------------------------
>
> Key: RTGOV-581

> Using an acknowleageable protocol as HTTP can make the business application/runtime server have some performance issues. Using UDP is both easy to configure, and more reliable in terms of the runtime server.
> Keep in mind that sometimes the event generation/submission should not compromise the execution of the core of the platforms.

[JBoss JIRA] (RTGOV-582) Configure Event submitters per ActivityUnits o Activity Types
by Jorge Morales (JIRA)
Jorge Morales created RTGOV-582:
-----------------------------------
Summary: Configure Event submitters per ActivityUnits o Activity Types
Key: RTGOV-582
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RTGOV-582
Project: RTGov (Run Time Governance)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Reporter: Jorge Morales
Assignee: Gary Brown
If more than one protocols can be used to communicate/submit events to the Activity Server, it should be configurable which Event Submitter to use per ActivityUnits or ActivityTypes, so this way we use a reliable transmission protocol for ActivityUnits/Types of high interest, and non reliable transmission protocols for low priority ActivityUnits/Types.

[JBoss JIRA] (RTGOV-580) Support websockets as protocol for event submission
by Jorge Morales (JIRA)

Sending of messages to the Activity Server using HTTP protocol is not very network optimized. Using websockets can be very much optimized as can provide support for reliability and reduced transmission size.

[JBoss JIRA] (RTGOV-577) Activity Collector integration for jBPM Business events
by Jorge Morales (JIRA)

Currently there is an activity collector integration with jBPM to report BPMN events (process started, process finished,...) It would be nice if also there would be integration to extract business information from the process and report it as Custom Activity Types, much like can be done with the Information Processor in SwitchYard, that extract business data from the payload.

Activity Collector integration on Camel execution with following Activity Types:
- Route started
- Route finished
This way we can gather also metrics on Route executions.
