> I tried to create new connection profile to SOAP Web Service using Guides without project in workspace and it doesn't work. Nothing happens after I double-click the menu option.
> I discovered that in order to complete the action using Guides, you need to have some project in workspace and it also needs to be opened, it doesn't work with closed one.
> It actually doesn't work with any other connection (Flat File, JBDC, XML...) using Guides

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2151) Create relational model from WS (SOAP) using default procedures generates both models in one subdirectory
by Matus Makovy (JIRA)
Matus Makovy commented on TEIIDDES-2151:
----------------------------------------
Tried to verify this today, the problem still occurs.
Tested with JBDS 7.1.1.GA + Teiid Designer 8.3.3.Final-v20140613-1202-B88 on Fedora and also on Windows 7 (Reinstalled JBDS and TD to be sure...)
It also ignores the given names of the models, like you pointed out in your comment. [screen1.png]

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2218) JBossWS-CXF/RestEasy WAR menu options are impl specific
by Ted Jones (JIRA)
Ted Jones updated TEIIDDES-2218:
--------------------------------
Description:
I never noticed noticed this before, but the menu options as
- Generate JBossWs-CXF War
- Generate RestEasy War
they seem to mention the underlying technologies that Designer uses to implement the WAR files then generic name such as
- Generate SOAP Web Service WAR
- Generate REST Web Service WAR
The users do not care, may not be aware of above underlying technologies, and can create a confusing naming.
