Luca Gioppo commented on TEIIDDES-194:
--------------------------------------
The release of the plugin is the teiid_designer_6.0.0_v20090514.zip
The import has been done just using the jdbc14.jar file from Oracle and choosing Oracle
from the source dialog (I supposed that I just needed to specify the Oracle driver and
that TEIID had all what was needed).
It seemed right to do so since it read the tables and produced the model, but it did not
create the connector (which is the bug in my opinion).
The jar was also added to the udf (adding external jars).
Note that this is the same way I used for MySQL and for MySQL it worked without problems
(even if there are some errors in the log for MySQL that I do not understand, but since it
work I decided to ignore them (I know is a bed practice, but you know if it doesn't
hurt just leave it alone).
I remember that his problem was present also in the previous release (see
http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=152908) and rareddy
posted a Oracle cdk to use, now in this new version (as he stated in the post) that cdk is
no longer valid (you changed the packages from metamatrix to teiid and also some classes
are different).
Hopes this can help.
