Because the SQL validation and resolving exposes errors to the user, it's not a bug
but probably an enhancement of some sort. Need some input on what we would do instead in
the Expression builder, so pushing to Future for the time being

In Expression Builder, if the Constant radio button is selected, changing Type from the
dropdown has no effect (on Windows, the newly selected type flashes briefly in the
dropdown before reverting back to 'string').
